We will embark on a one-day journey through the most famous places of the Elbrus region. Shady gorges, legendary passes, mountain waterfalls - this is just part of the route. Ahead of us awaits a climb to the highest station of Elbrus - don't forget to charge your cameras.
What to expect
Getting to Elbrus
On a comfortable car, we will drive through two picturesque gorges, enjoy the silence of a high-mountain lake, the roar of cloud-level waterfalls, and visit the filming locations of the movie 'Sannikov Land.' The culmination of the trip will be a visit to Azau glade (2350 meters above sea level), and from there - a cable car ride to the highest Elbrus station.
Legends and folklore
In addition to the trip through mesmerizing mountain landscapes, you will also experience the cultural aspect. During the journey, I will tell you about the history of our region and share local legends. You will see where the ancient Silk Road passed, and in which gorge, according to legend, dragons dwelled. I will show you which peak the fascists planned to name after their leader. We will visit the gorge where huge spiders lived, fighting with god-like Narts. And witness the mountain that ufologists consider an anomalous zone of alpha class.
