About this experience
You will see the main attractions of the Danish capital from the comfort of a car, where cold, rain, or heat are not scary. Along the way, I will introduce you to the history, culture, traditions, and customs of the country and reveal why Danes are recognized as the happiest nation in the world.
What to Expect
Old Copenhagen
You will visit the heart of the Danish capital — the City Hall Square. You'll drive through the largest pedestrian street in the city and through the colorful Latin Quarter. In addition, I will show you the New and Old Squares, St. Peter's Church, Rosenborg Palace, and the famous round tower from 1642. On the historic Slotsholmen Island, you will see the center of Denmark's political power — Christiansborg Castle — and the building of the oldest stock exchange, bordering the Royal Library.
The Most Interesting Districts of the City
The King's Square will lead us to the vibrant Nyhavn district, a 'visiting card' of Copenhagen. Next, you will see: Amalienborg Palace, the winter residence of Queen Margrethe II, Ophelia Square, the Marble and Russian churches, and the Gefion Fountain. You will also uncover the secrets of the oldest communal houses in the world, the ancient operational military unit — Kastellet — and the famous Little Mermaid. Finally, you will pass by the 'hippie state' of Christiania and admire the canals and unique buildings of the Christianshavn district.
