About this experience
In just 2 hours, I offer you to see three different Parises. During our walk, you will learn many interesting facts from the lives of famous writers, artists, and performers who were associated with these places and immortalized them in their works!
Program
- The poorest district of Gout d'Or (translated as "a drop of gold"), where Emile Zola settled his heroine Gervaise from the novel "The Belly of Paris". Since then, little has changed here. Dirty streets, dilapidated houses - extreme poverty still reigns in this district to this day, but without seeing it, it is impossible to fully understand Paris from all sides.
- Three squares of bohemian Paris - Pigalle, Blanche, and Clichy - were and remain some of the noisiest places in the city. Here the noise and laughter never stop all night. We will follow the footsteps of legendary establishments where the most famous artists and painters of the late 19th century gathered.
- The Batignolles-Batignolles district, a quiet haven of the powerful with magnificent houses, mansions, parks, and squares. Here you will see where such celebrities as Edouard Manet, Guy de Maupassant, Marcel Pagnol, Edmond Rostand, Sarah Bernhardt, and many others lived and worked.
