About this experience
This tour is not about the usual tourist spots - it's about the authentic Paris. To truly experience the city, it's not enough to visit the main attractions: you need to deviate from the usual Google Maps path. You will encounter luxurious passages and galleries, the magnificent Palais Royal, the streets of Marais. You will live a real little French life in the Montorgueil district and find the oldest market in Le Hal quarter. I will share the secrets of this city and help you discover Paris from a new perspective.
What to Expect
City from Templars to Revolutionaries
In the course of the walk, you will see the Palais Royal, the magnificent palace of Cardinal Richelieu. Once there was a café where revolutionary ideas were discussed - you will understand why none of the waiters could reveal the conspirators. You will stroll through the oldest market in Paris and learn about the legend of the mysterious Templar order. We will visit St-Eustache Church, where Moliere and Madame de Pompadour were baptized, and admire the largest organ in France. I will tell you why Paris has long been considered dirty and how to distinguish buildings from the Ottoman baron era and earlier structures.
Feel Like a Parisian
In the Montorgueil district, we will pass by cafes frequented by Marcel Proust and Salvador Dali, and see the oldest Parisian confectionery, founded by Louis XV's personal confectioner. You will discover the luxurious Parisian passages - atmospheric galleries with old restaurants. This is where the first private detective of Paris lived! And, of course, you will feel the atmosphere of old Paris as you wander through the narrow streets of the Marais district. Hidden gardens and squares, a Jewish street, and the famous Place des Vosges - after our walk, you will definitely be able to answer the question: why love Paris?
