Hungary is a country known for its healing waters and thermal resorts. During this tour, you will visit one of them: the unique Demjén cave bath located beneath the cave vaults. Thermal waters will help you relax and rejuvenate. In Eger, you will admire the baroque architecture and hear the legends of the medieval fortress. Near Eger lies the wine region - Valley of the Beautiful Lady, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch and taste wines from local winemakers.
What to Expect
Exploring in Caves
The atmosphere of the Demjén Cave Bath is unique. It includes a network of caves and connecting corridors, a dome-shaped building with slides, and a Spa center. A huge labyrinth of thermal pools with different temperatures, water installations, hydro massages, baths, saunas, and several very large slides for water entertainment.
The decoration of the Demjén Cave Bath is inspired by the movie 'Avatar'. Flowers, special lighting, and sculptures create a magical world where you will feel good, relax, and unwind.
Postcard-Perfect Town
You will spend about 2 hours at the Cave Bath, and after a short rest, you will head to Eger - one of the most beautiful cities in Hungary. Here, the luxurious Baroque architecture is enveloped in a medieval atmosphere. The powerful fortress erected on a hill in the 13th century holds the history of the courage of the city defenders who defended it during the siege by the Turkish army.
Wine Region
From Eger, we will go for lunch in the Valley of the Beautiful Lady - I will tell you two legends explaining its amazing name. This is a popular relaxation spot: hotels and restaurants are scattered around a cliff where wine cellars have been equipped since ancient times - today they are open for visits. Winemaking has been practiced here since the 14th century, as the location of the town at the foot of a mountain range creates a unique climate suitable for growing various grape varieties. After lunch in a 'csárda', you will taste the most famous local wines - 'Girl from Eger' and 'Bull's Blood of Eger'.

- Visit to the bathhouse - optional. Entrance tickets to the bathhouse are paid separately. Ticket prices range from 8 to 16 euros per person, depending on the relaxation area.
- In case of cancellation by you within 48 hours or less before the start of the tour, the payment made by you on the website is non-refundable. No force majeure exceptions.
Tour Itinerary
- The tour consists of three parts:
- bathing in the cave bath (2.5 hours)
- sightseeing tour of Eger (2 hours)
- lunch with wine tasting (around 16:30) - I will guide the tour personally or another guide from our team
