I promise to make it memorable: you will reach Cape Roca at the most beautiful time - at sunset - and admire this place with a glass of the famous green wine. Along the way, you will learn about the past grandeur of Portugal and the modern life of the country, receive useful tips for your trip, visit the "Devil's Mouth" gorge, and find a fairytale house.
What to expect
The beauties of the Lisbon Riviera
The path to the westernmost point of the continent goes through the picturesque Portuguese coast. Passing by Estoril with its luxurious hotels and casino, you will arrive in the resort town of Cascais: take photos in the harbor with many boats and see the fairytale house of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid", where the water reaches the stairs during high tide. Near Cascais, you will enter the "Devil's Mouth" - a mysterious grotto where I will tell you a tragic legend.
The romance of Cape Roca
The main goal of the journey is the legendary Cape Roca, where you will imagine how many years sailors left Europe, setting off to distant shores. Here, listening to the sound of the Atlantic Ocean, you will taste Portugal - I will treat you to a glass of the best, in my opinion, traditional green wine.
In addition to vivid visual impressions, useful recommendations await you. I will gladly tell you about other interesting places, recommend cafes and restaurants where you should try Portuguese dishes and local wines.
Organizational details
- The tour starts at your hotel in Lisbon, Estoril, Cascais, or Sintra.
- The tour is conducted in a comfortable Mercedes car.
- Please note: if there are 4-6 people, the cost per person is 40€.
- Transportation costs and wine (calculated as a bottle for 2 people) are included in the price.
- Snacks are not included in the price (you can bring them with you or arrange with me to purchase them for an additional fee).
- The tour can be conducted for a larger group of people (please inquire by message).
- The tour will be conducted by me or another guide from our team.
