About this experience
Get ready to immerse yourself in the pristine nature of two regions of Georgia: Samegrelo and Imereti. In three picturesque locations, you will feel like you are in a lost world. Walk along ancient trails, see princely baths, visit several observation decks, examine whimsical cave formations, and add bright photos to your collection.
What to Expect
Martvili Canyon
In the Samegrelo region, in the village of Gachedili, you will visit the famous natural monument - a gorge carved by the Abasha River. One of the most popular spots here is Opukhole, a bath of princes from the ancient lineage of Georgian aristocrats Dadiani. You will walk along a historic stone-paved trail, cross two bridges, and visit several viewpoints.
Okatse Canyon
In the vicinity of the village of Gordi, you will explore the second picturesque canyon. Stroll through the Dadiani forest park and reach a wonderful panoramic platform where you can take colorful shots.
Prometheus Cave
The third highlight of the program is the legendary karst cave in the village of Kumistavi. Just imagine: its age is 60-70 million years! Visitors can access 6 out of 22 halls. You will see stalactites and stalagmites, as well as 'fossilized waterfalls,' 'hanging stone curtains,' helictites, and other whimsical cave formations.
