While you admire the views, airplanes will be flying beneath your feet... But that's not all! Let's continue exploring the country on the coast - in the medieval city of Kotor.
What to Expect
Bird's Eye View
We will ascend to one of the country's highest points, where you will be greeted with magnificent views and a different Montenegro with its famous 'lunar landscapes'. You will see almost the entire coastline: overlooking the Bays of Kotor and Tivat, old forts and fortifications from the 19th-20th centuries. At that moment, airplanes will be flying beneath your feet - an incredible spectacle!
If you plan the walk for the late afternoon, get ready to witness an unforgettable sight - the Montenegrin sunset over the sea.
Enigmatic City
Then we will descend and continue the walk in Kotor - the most mysterious medieval city in Montenegro. You will feel its atmosphere, see the ancient squares, learn how to own nearly 100 palaces while being homeless, and discover the location of Europe's oldest pharmacy. Make a wish at the place where they always come true, and peek into the courtyard of an ancient mansion to find its main treasure.
Organizational Details
- The tour is conducted by the guide's car. You can also arrive on your own (cost will not change).
- Tickets for the round-trip cable car ride (adult - €23, child - €15), parking fees (€1-2/hour), and coffee (optional) are paid separately.
- An excursion can be organized from another city, for a larger group, and in a foreign language. Inquire about the cost via message.
- Bring water and headgear if the tour takes place in summer.
