About this experience
We will visit three private breweries located away from the classic tourist routes. The breweries produce traditional Berlin beer according to their own recipes: an excellent opportunity to try new varieties that you definitely won't find anywhere else!
In the early 20th century, Berlin was the European capital of beer. Between 1850 and 1920, there were over 370 breweries in the city. Unfortunately, significant losses among the male population during World War I led to the closure of almost all breweries.
However, in recent years, more and more private breweries have been appearing in Berlin. And, of course, the best snack with beer is the famous Berlin currywurst sausage!
What to expect
The tour includes:
- 3 private breweries;
- 2 places where they cook the best currywurst in the city;
- Interesting facts about two German favorites: beer and sausages;
- And, of course, a bit of history about Berlin and its residents.
