What to Expect
Batu Caves from the Outside and Inside
Batu Caves is one of Malaysia's must-visit attractions. I will reveal how they formed millions of years ago and show you their main highlights. You will see the 43-meter statue of the Hindu god Murugan, climb the colorful staircase, explore the caves from the inside, and decipher the symbolism of the ancient shrines located within.
Selangor River Fireflies, Langurs, Hindu Temple, and More
After the caves, we will head towards the west coast of the country. Along the way, we will visit the charming Sri Shanti Temple and admire Melawati Hill, where the silver leaf monkeys langurs reside. In the evening, we will stop at the Selangor River. You will see a huge colony of twinkling fireflies and, if you wish, take a boat ride.
