About this experience
The history of Azerbaijani winemaking dates back to the 2nd millennium BCE. It will be especially interesting to 'go behind the scenes' - not only to taste local wines, but also to understand how winemaking has evolved in the country. You will visit 2 bars in the heart of Baku, hear stories about winemaking, and taste 5-6 varieties of wines from Azerbaijani wineries.
What to Expect
You will taste wines from the 'Savalan', 'Hillside', 'Shabiant' wineries:
- Grenade
- Semi-sweet white and red
- Dry white and red
The tasting will be accompanied by a presentation and explanations from a local expert.
