About this experience
Spend a fulfilling day surrounded by your closest friends! We will not only show you the most interesting places in Samarkand - Registan Square, Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Shah-i-Zinda Mausoleum, and Gur-Emir Necropolis - but also photograph you in the best city locations! And we will also talk about playful concubines, mysterious royal intrigues, and love stories.
What to Expect
- Gur-Emir Mausoleum. The heart of Samarkand and Tamerlane's final resting place. This masterpiece of Persian art will be a perfect backdrop for your photos!
- Registan. City's icon, a square where three madrasahs - Tilya-Kori, Sher-Dor, and Ulugbek - intersect. You can't visit Samarkand and miss this place.
- Bibi-Khanum. You will visit the ancient bazaar and mosque - places where history blends with traditions. Immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the Eastern market and uncover the mystery of the mosque's construction.
- Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis. Stunning monument of early medieval architecture! Everywhere you look, there's a great angle for photos. We will stroll along the central street, peek into the mausoleums. The guide will tell you which royal figures and nobles are buried here.
Afterward, you will enjoy a culinary feast at a cozy Uzbek restaurant. You will taste national cuisine dishes, including the legendary pilaf. Get ready for an explosion of flavors!
