About this experience
Through art, the most hidden corners of the people's soul are revealed to the attentive viewer. We invite you to uncover them together! You will meet a local artist who will personally show you his works and help decipher their symbolism. You will visit a private gallery and the first museum of modern art on the territory of the USSR.
What to expect
Museum of Contemporary Art
We will start the art walk with the exposition of the Museum of Contemporary Art, opened in the 1970s. You will dive into the history of the collection formation, learn about leading painters and sculptors. We will also discuss the traditions of Armenian visual arts and how they resonate today and are reflected in the works of contemporary artists.
Private gallery and artists' workshop
You will enter a private gallery and workshop of one of the well-known local artists. Through personal interaction with the artist, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss key aspects of creativity, discover the secrets of creating artistic works, and exchange viewpoints.
