What to Expect
Yerevan in Detail
Our walk in Yerevan will start at Republic Square, where I will introduce you to the city's architecture and explain who it owes its modern look to. You will pass along preserved buildings from the 18-19 centuries and emerge in the modern part of Yerevan - Northern Avenue, connecting Republic and Freedom Squares. You will see the symbol of the capital - the Opera and Ballet Theater building, embodying the skills of local architects, and stroll to Swan Lake, which turns into an ice rink in cold weather.
Modern City and Its Past
After exploring France Square, we will visit the open-air museum of contemporary art - Cascade. In the evening, special lighting is turned on here, and the architectural structures appear in completely different colors. And on the way to squares, monuments, and houses, I will tell you about Armenian culture of the past and present, about where local residents like to visit, and why they once chose Yerevan as their home.
