About this experience
As Italian writer Tonino Guerra noted, 'Armenia is a country of vertical travels,' referring not only to the passes through valleys and mountains, but also to the incredible journey through time. To feel the spirit of this ancient country and enjoy its contrasting landscapes, we invite you to a trip that combines two most popular destinations: Dilijan - Sevan and Yerevan.
What to Expect
Dilijan
You will visit the resort town, also known as the Little Switzerland, thanks to its surrounding forests and healing climate. Stroll through the colorful streets of the old quarter, learn about the history of Dilijan, discover how it became a mountain-climate resort, and see the famous monument to the heroes of the movie 'Mimino'.
Lake Sevan and Sevanavank Monastery
Next, we will head to one of the largest freshwater high-mountain lakes in Eurasia. By the shore, you will explore the 9th-century monastery complex and hear the story of this iconic Armenian shrine. Perched on a hill, the monastery offers a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. Additionally, a half-hour boat ride is included in the program - you will explore the lake from all sides and take stunning photos.
Yerevan. The City Older Than Rome
To conclude the excursion, you will visit the capital of Armenia. Enjoy a panoramic view of Yerevan from an observation deck. Descend the 'Cascade' staircase - an open-air museum of modern art. Walk along the city's most expensive street and reach Republic Square. During the overview excursion, you will gain a general understanding of Yerevan's architecture, history, and monuments.
At the end of the tour, we will gift you a bottle of Kakhetian wine, made using traditional Georgian qvevri technology.

My wife and I are grateful to our guide Archi for such a well-organized and great tour! We visited Dilijan, Yerevan, Lake Sevan, and our guide also gave us a visit to Akhtala - a medieval monastery. We received a wonderful wine gift from the guide. I highly recommend booking tours with Archi!
