What to Expect
Sevan — the Jewel of Armenia
From Yerevan, the road lies to the north, to the largest lake in the Caucasus, Lake Sevan — the main natural attraction of Armenia. You will find yourself in the center of the Armenian Highland, where you will admire the landscapes of the lake surrounded by mountain ranges. I will tell you about the name of Sevan and the legends associated with the lake. Additionally, you will see the Sevanavank monastery, which harmoniously complements the beauty of the local nature, and learn about its ancient history.
Picturesque Dilijan
You will find yourself in the richest natural reserve of the South Caucasus, where you will enjoy clean air and breathtaking views. In the valley, on the forested slope, you will be greeted by the Haghartsin monastery. You will learn about its features and enjoy the symphony of nature and architectural thought of man. In the national park, you will also visit the Goshavank monastery — an ancient monument of culture and science, where you will learn about the medieval history of this place and the work of the great Armenian scholar Mkhitar Gosh.
