About this experience
This is a 3 in 1 program: first, you will touch the origins of Yerevan by visiting the ancient fortress and its museum. Here is kept the 'passport' of our city - samples of ancient cuneiform. We will then refresh ourselves at the 'GUM' market, where you can try local products. And then we will stroll through the center, admiring the architecture and discussing the peculiarities of Yerevan.
What to expect
Erebuni Fortress is located near the city center and is notable for its antiquity. The historical Urartu museum operates near the fortress, where we will stop by to see the cuneiform writing. Thanks to cuneiform, you will learn, for example, that our city is 29 years older than Rome!
'GUM' Market. We will drive there by car. This atmospheric place was founded in the Soviet years, but it has a special southern charm. In the numerous stalls, you can taste our national meat products, dried fruits, and other Armenian delicacies.
City center. During a walking tour, you will get acquainted with the city's architecture and visit the Cascade. Locals jokingly say, 'Those who haven't seen the Cascade haven't visited Yerevan.' We will reveal to you the secret of why our city is called the 'pink city flower' and share many other interesting facts.
