About this experience
Giza Pyramids and National Museum are must-see attractions for travelers. They are usually the starting point for getting acquainted with Cairo and its surroundings. In the first half of the day, we will visit the pyramids and the Great Sphinx: you will see them up close and hear their millennia-old history. After lunch, you will visit the National Museum, where you can appreciate the findings of local archaeologists.
What to Expect
Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx
You will see the three great pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. I will tell you why and for what purpose they were built, if there are any analogues in the world, what allowed them to survive to this day, and how much longer they will endure. You will also examine the famous Great Sphinx - the guardian with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh. I will share the legends and amazing stories associated with it.
National Museum in Cairo
We will visit the world's largest repository of ancient Egyptian art objects. Just imagine: it houses over 150,000 artifacts. I will show you the most significant ones: the golden mask of Tutankhamun, ancient manuscripts, stone sarcophagi, mummies, household items, and decorations. I will help you immerse yourself in ancient Egyptian civilization and uncover its secrets.
