About this experience
Visit the main gems of Cairo in one tour! Start the day by exploring the Giza Pyramids, considered one of the wonders of the world. Continue with a rich collection of antiquities at the Egyptian Museum. You will see the treasures of Tutankhamun, sarcophagi, funerary masks, and learn their mysterious history. And end the journey with a leisurely walk along the Nile on a traditional felucca boat.
What to Expect
The three tallest pyramids of Ancient Egypt - Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, along with their mystical guardian the Sphinx (3 hrs). The Pyramids of Giza are the most famous landmarks of Egypt, built 4500 years ago for the burial of pharaohs and still shrouded in mystery.
Egyptian Museum (2 hrs). Here you will find a vast number of antiquities - sarcophagi, mummies and their funerary masks, manuscripts, treasures. It may be challenging to see over 150,000 exhibits at once, but we will try to cover the most significant and interesting ones.
Nile River cruise. You will sail along the longest river in the world on a traditional felucca and appreciate Cairo from the water.
During the tour, you will learn interesting facts about the history of Cairo and its ancient landmarks, explore different versions of the pyramids' origins, and unravel the mysteries of museum exhibits.
Organizational Details
- Included in the price: transfer in a comfortable Hyundai or Toyota car, services of a Russian-speaking guide, all entrance tickets, boat cruise along the Nile, unlimited drinking water
- Optionally, for an additional fee, you can enter the Khufu pyramid and take a camel ride - please inquire about the current cost. Lunch is also paid separately (if desired)
