About this experience
I am a student at a university in South Korea. On this tour, I will show you the top institutions in the country, share my experiences, and give you insight into studying in another country. We will explore whether freshman days are as fun as portrayed in dramas and discover what kind of food is served in university cafeterias. If interested, we can visit one of them and taste authentic university food.
What to Expect
During one tour, we will visit 3 top universities in South Korea:
- We'll stroll through Seoul National University - the country's #1 ranked university where all Korean students aspire to go
- We'll see the very first Ewha Womans University, where only women are allowed to study
- I will also show you Yonsei University - one of Korea's oldest and most beautiful institutions where numerous dramas have been filmed
You will learn the most important things about student life:
- I will explain how studying and freshman days go, as well as the admission requirements
- I'll show you inside a couple of Seoul National University campuses where I study. Outsiders are not allowed in the classrooms.
- If interested, you can try student food at a café or cafeteria
- On a weekday, we will visit the art museum at Seoul National University for free and see works by students from the art faculty
Organizational Details
- The cost of the tour includes guide services and food/drinks for one participant. If there are more participants, there is an extra charge of €5/person for food/drinks.
- We can travel between universities by taxi - around €20/ride, or by public transport - €2/person. I will help you purchase a transportation card.
- Cafeterias operate until 18:00 on weekdays and are closed on weekends.
