About this experience
In half a day, you will get a vivid impression of different facets of Seoul. Immerse yourself in the past and touch on traditions by exploring the royal palace and recreated village. Learn about national heroes. Visit the city's main Buddhist temple and hear about Korea's religious history. Taste traditional sweets with tea. And experience what it's like to be a K-pop star.
What to Expect
City Hall. We will examine the asymmetrical building from the outside and peek inside—where the world's tallest vertical gardens occupy a huge area.
Toksu Palace. An additional palace of the royal family, with Western-style buildings. You will hear the history of the Palace of Virtue and Longevity, watch the changing of the guard, and take photos with the guards.
K-pop Moment. We will stroll along Cheonggyecheon stream to the cultural center, where there is a large media stand where you can experience shooting music videos in the K-pop style: choose props, song, set the lighting.
Gwanghwamun Square. At Seoul's main square, I will talk about two of the most revered Korean heroes whose statues are located here.
Gastronomic Break. In the traditional Bukchon village, we will visit a cafe and try Korean ice cream, sweets, herbal teas. Here, in the recreated settlement, you will get acquainted with the Korean architectural style 'hanok.' And if desired, you can have a photo shoot in national costumes.
Jogyesa Temple. You will also visit Seoul's main Buddhist temple. I will tell you about the history of the sanctuary and the peculiarities of Buddhism in Korea.
Insa-dong District. I will show you an atmospheric place with many interesting shops and authentic Korean food restaurants. I will talk about Korean cuisine, help you choose dishes. And here I will leave you to enjoy a leisurely walk and shopping at your own pace.
Throughout the day, we will discuss the history, culture, traditions, and way of life in South Korea. I will gladly share my experience of living in this country for a long time. This way, you will receive complete and accurate information not only about the attractions, but also about the realities of local life.
