About this experience
Seoul is a bright and incredibly colorful city. Authentic old quarters neighbor modern fashionable districts, palaces of past centuries stand next to skyscrapers, elite boutiques coexist with street food. I will show you Seoul from different angles and help you feel its contradictory character, which is not easily revealed to every traveler.
What to expect
Old Seoul
You will explore the main square of Gwanghwamun, admire the view of Mount Bukhansan, and uncover the history of the Joseon Dynasty. Then, visit the royal palace of Gyeongbokgung with its artificial lake, luxurious halls, colorful paintings, and sculptures. We will also visit the National Folk Museum of Korea, which reveals the peculiarities of local life from the 14th century to the present day. Additionally, I will show you the untouched by civilization district of Bukchon. It is a real 'village in the city' where time seems to have stopped.
Seoul of the 21st century
Modern Seoul is a vibrant city. You will stroll through the souvenir street of Insadong and along the promenade along Cheonggyecheon Stream. This is a favorite public space for local residents. Here you will find everything for a great rest: comfortable paths, fountains, art objects, and galleries. Finally, I will show you the residence of the Korean president and the Seoul Tower - one of the main symbols of the city. I will also take you along the bustling Myeongdong street with boutiques, cosmetic shops, and street food to suit every taste.
