About this experience
Budapest is amazingly diverse! It's called the 'budget Paris', compared to Vienna, Krakow, and Prague. Some harshly criticize the city, while others genuinely admire it. What is it really like? I promise to show you its full variety during our tour.
What to expect
Easy, rich, unhurried
To truly feel an unfamiliar city, I believe you need to walk through it, and for a long time and leisurely. Of course, getting to know the city usually starts with the 'must-see' sights. Therefore, in our mandatory list:
- Parliament
- St. Stephen's Basilica
- Szechenyi Baths
- Heroes' Square
- Vajdahunyad Castle
- Danube bridges
- Fountain 'Royal Hunt'
- Panoramic views from the viewpoints in front of the Royal Palace
But, believe me, it is just as enticing to stroll along the streets, peek into mysterious courtyards-wells (if the opportunity arises), and into old alleys adorned with stucco. Stop by a pastry shop and inhale the aroma of coffee and fresh pastries - and then sit down with ice cream in the park or by the fountain, observe passers-by, take photos, admire, marvel, compare...
So, if you are ready to chat with a local, don't like to rush, and are not afraid of long walks - my program is for you!
