About this experience
During the 2-hour walk in Baku, you will see important architectural landmarks and old buildings. Along the way, you will encounter mansions of local millionaires, churches and synagogues, historical theaters and cinemas. You will take beautiful photos against the backdrop of the main locations and learn their history.
What to Expect
You will explore mansions and estates of former and current millionaires on Nizami Street and its surroundings. Take a stroll along the Primorsky Boulevard and enjoy the view of the Caspian Sea. You will see the Museum of the History of Azerbaijan, Molokan Garden, Baku Winter Park, the State Song Theater named after Rishad Beybutov, the National Library, and other interesting places.
We will tell you how the city of Baku was built and how European and Soviet architecture intertwined in its appearance. We will reveal why Baku's oil magnates ordered the construction of the Russian Drama Theater and the German Lutheran Church. And we will draw your attention to the precision with which most of the buildings for millionaires were constructed.
