About this experience
If you are visiting Baku for the first time or just for a short while, this walk is the perfect solution. The Old City, Gosha Gala Gates, Trading Street, and Baku Boulevard are just a few of the attractions you will see on this walk. What to Expect
Ancient Baku
I will show you the Old City, the Chain House, and the twin gates of Gosha Gala. You will see the archaeological garden and learn about its connection to Freddie Mercury. Explore mosques, markets, and the legendary Maiden's Tower. Words like Shamakha Queen, Khan's palaces, and Ateshgah will come to life for you.
Imperial Baku
You will walk from the Parapet Square along Trading Street, which was the business and social hub of imperial Baku. You will encounter palaces from the first oil boom era, cafes, and restaurants popular among the city's elites. Discover Milkman's Garden, the Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, and mansions of oil magnates.
Modern Baku
To wrap up, a stroll along one of the world's longest waterfront promenades—the Baku Boulevard. You will be inspired by the views of the coastline with Flame Towers, skyscrapers of the White City, fountains, and canals.
