What to expect
Something about the gastronomic habits of the Catalans
The residents of Barcelona love to spend the evening moving from one bar to another with friends to have drinks, eat some tasty tapas snacks, and of course, socialize: the Spanish language even has a word tapear for such pastime. The culture of tapas bars reflects a whole philosophy, way of life, and habits of native Spaniards. During the walk, I will tell and show you the place that tapas occupy in the daily gastronomic life of Barcelona: where the name of these snacks came from, how they are eaten, what sizes and types they come in. For example, you will probably enjoy pintxos - mini sandwiches with various ingredients skewered on a stick.
Try traditional tapas
The most interesting and favorite tapas bars of the locals are waiting for us on the streets of the El Born and Gothic Quarter districts - these are usually small and noisy establishments where tapas are eaten right at the bar counter. There is no menu here, and the entire range is presented in the showcase, looking at which, you will inevitably feel hungry! During the evening, we will visit 3 - 4 tapas bars, and on the way from one tasty place to another, I will tell you some interesting facts about incredible Barcelona.
