We will visit a family winery on the island of Tenerife, where you will appreciate the oldest grape varieties that have survived in Europe. Among them are marmajuelo and the famous Malvasia, which was mentioned by Shakespeare in his works.
What to Expect
Secrets of Canarian Winemaking
You will visit one of the largest family wineries on the island in the La Orotava valley in the north of Tenerife. You will stroll among the vineyards and learn about the grape fermentation process in a real workshop. You will discover the peculiarities of Canarian wine production: from the nuances of grape sorting to the bottling process and storage in oak barrels.
Tasting with a Sommelier
In an elegant local wine shop, you will have a tasting of 5 Canarian wines with a professional sommelier. You will learn how to evaluate a drink according to certain criteria, how to drink wine according to Spanish tradition, how to pair different types of wines with food, and expand your wine vocabulary.

- Possible extension of the tour for more people (maximum 6). Cost for each additional participant is 35 euros.
