Getting to know Vienna
You will see all the iconic places of Vienna: St. Stephen's Cathedral with a gingerbread roof, the Plague Column, St. Augustine's Church, the Albertina Picture Gallery, and the winter residence of the Hofburg emperors. You will also learn why the Renaissance Opera and the Gothic Town Hall are 'not real', what endearing name the locals came up with for the city's main symbol, and how long the 'sweetest war' in Austrian history lasted.
Viennese secrets
You will walk along the famous pedestrian streets Kohlmarkt and Graben, find the legendary cafes Sacher and Demel, and discover if you can eat violets for lunch and what 'black gold' tastes like. You will also hear about the most beautiful Austrian princess Sissi, the long-lived emperor Franz, and composers Mozart and Strauss. I promise: it will be fun and interesting!
