About this experience
Tired of boring tours where guides just throw dates and monotonously retell the textbook? Then let's talk about Vienna on an informal stroll. I will show you the main attractions that the imperial city is famous for, in an informal setting I will tell the history of each object, about famous rulers and events - serious and quirky, associated with them, as well as about the culture and manners of the Viennese. My story will be informative, but light, so after the tour, instead of mush in your head, you will have a good understanding of Vienna and its values.
What to expect
Amazing and rich route through the capital of Austria
- First, we will visit St. Stephen's Cathedral - Vienna's calling card, where you will learn why the ruling Habsburg dynasty was 'disemboweled' during burial.
- Next, we will stroll along Graben Street, and I will tell you why the female sculpture of the plague on the Plague Column looks like a man.
- We will enter St. Peter's Cathedral - I will share how the descendants of the Habsburgs live to this day and what is written in their passport.
- We will reach the oldest street in Vienna - Am Hof. Here you will discover how this street is connected to the world's tallest monument - Motherland Calls in Volgograd.
- In the diplomatic quarter, we will see a copy of Leonardo da Vinci's 'The Last Supper,' which is 200 years old. We will talk about it, and I will also share why there was a terrible scandal in Israel and the Pope was declared the devil's scourge.
- After that, we will reach Heroes Square, where you will learn how in 1938 the Second Coming of Jesus Christ was predicted.
- Walking through the Winter Residence Hofburg, we will discuss why Austrians cannot afford to rest the entire honeymoon, only one week.
- At the Spanish Riding School, you will understand why in the Middle Ages, Habsburg horses were only groomed once a week.
- And we will finish the walk near Demel Imperial Confectionery, where finally I will share why any coffee in Vienna is served with a glass of water.
If during the tour you do not smile and be amazed even once, I will refund your money!
