About this experience
New York is unlike any other city in America or European capitals. It exists separately from the rest of the world. Beneath its dimensions and well-known symbols, you may overlook the details that make New York so multi-layered and rich. I will try to reveal different facets of this amazing city: showing you both its iconic places and secret corners.
What to Expect
Uncharted New York
Ilf and Petrov wrote in their "One-Storied America" back in 1935: "Generally, New York is remarkable in that it has everything." I want to show you at least a small part of what this remarkable city has to offer. We will start the walk at New York City Hall Square, where you will see the oldest fountain in the city and the municipal building that served as a prototype for Moscow's skyscrapers. Then, you will visit the church that became a center of salvation during the tragedy of September 11, take a stroll down Broadway, and learn why one of its sections is called the "Canyon of Heroes."
New York from Within
You will uncover the secrets of the famous exchange on Wall Street and walk along Stone Street, which was paved over three centuries ago. After taking pictures with the legendary Charging Bull statue, you will visit Battery Park and see from the shore the Statue of Liberty, the New York Harbor, and the Old Fort. Then, you will enjoy the views of the Hudson River from the stunning new waterfront, explore the prestigious residential area, visit the World Financial Center building, and learn its current name. Lastly, I will show you the Palm Garden, the famous Oculus hall, the September 11 Memorial, and the view of the new World Trade Center tower.
