About this experience
New York is a city of migrants. Millions of its future residents began to gather here in the 19th century. Battery Park is the place where it all began. And that's where our tour with you starts. I will show you all the significant locations in Downtown Manhattan, tell you about the traditions of Native Americans and the peculiarities of the local mentality, the history of the city and the state.
What to Expect
- We will sail past the Statue of Liberty on a ferry, and you will feel the true spirit of freedom that the newly arrived migrants felt centuries ago
- We will visit the stock exchange on Wall Street. You will see the famous bull statue. To attract financial prosperity, all you need to do is touch the animal's causal place. It works - tested through personal experience!
- Then we will visit the Winter Garden on the Hudson River
- We will take memorable photos at the yacht club with a stunning view of the skyscrapers of the neighboring state of New Jersey
- We will see the first New York subway station and the most expensive station in the world, built just a few years ago
- The famous 9/11 memorial, which is located on the site of the destroyed twin towers, will not leave you indifferent
- After lunch, we will stroll through City Hall Park and see the first skyscraper in New York - Woolworth Building, as well as the Municipal Building of Manhattan
- Our walk through the southern part of Manhattan will end on the Brooklyn Bridge right above the East River
Organizational Details
- I will pick you up from the hotel if you are not staying in the city center
- Lunch (optional) and subway fare - $2.90/ride are additional expenses
- The ferry ride through Lower Manhattan is free. The ferry runs every half an hour.
