About this experience
Tired of the city and eager to discover Korea's natural beauty? Then we are on the same page: I will take you to picturesque corners that not every tourist reaches. A waterfall, canyon in a UNESCO-listed park, boat ride, 'glass' suspension bridge, open-air museum village, and of course, a delicious lunch in a family restaurant in a small village await you!
What to expect
- A three-tier waterfall approximately 30m in height and around 110 million years old (stop for 10-15 mins)
- A walk in a park listed as a UNESCO heritage site, along a suspension pedestrian trail alongside a columnar canyon with colorful rocks
- Gastronomic break: you will taste rustic dishes in a small restaurant run by a couple for 45 years. They cook food from local ingredients grown right here.
- A boat ride (from April to November) in one of the most beautiful historical locations used in famous Korean movies
- A long suspension bridge with a transparent floor (after crossing it, you can relax in a cafe with a hot drink and a bun)
- A open-air museum village, where you will better understand Korea's history. You will also see a large building shelled by North Koreans and take a ride on a tram to a height of 362m, with a view of North Korea.
Organizational details
- Tickets for the tram (last stop on the route) need to be booked and purchased in advance, keep this in mind when booking the tour. If there are no tickets left at the time of booking, you can walk up (about 30 mins at a fast pace).
- The boat ride is available from April to November. Exact dates depend on weather conditions.
- Included in the price: guide services, transfer by Kia Carnival Prestige car from the hotel and back, entrance tickets, lunch, parking fees, toll roads, wi-fi and Evian water in the car, Seoul map
- Additional cost: desserts and drinks
