About this experience
This will be a unique experience with notes of authenticity, getting to know the island referred to as the 'Korean Hawaii' and 'Mandarin Paradise'. It is teeming with greenery, flowers, stunning waterfalls, and lava cliffs. Jeju is a 'state within a state'. In one day, I will show you its diversity, reveal its secrets, talk about its uniqueness, laws, and inner life.
What to expect
- We will visit the Jeongbang Waterfall with the purest artesian water. It is the only waterfall in Asia that flows directly into the sea.
- We will drive through the authentic port of the southern city Sogwipo
- We will explore the beautiful mini orchid and mandarin garden, where new varieties of citrus fruits are created and a special culture of the island is presented - ikebana grown on lava stones
- Optionally, we can try the authentic island cuisine for lunch
- We will learn about the UNESCO intangible heritage - the famous diving grandmothers. Optionally, we can try their catch - the freshest seafood. I will tell you about their life, customs, and legends.
- We will visit an atmospheric beach with a beautiful beach club and stunning views
- We will visit a geopark with legendary multifaceted rocks - hexagonal formations that formed when hot lava met sea water
Organizational details
- The tour price includes transfer in a Hyundai Staria minibus and guide services
- The car always has drinking water, umbrellas, a first aid kit, and mandarins in season
- Entrance tickets to locations along the route are additionally paid - $10/person, seafood and lunch - optional
- I will pick you up from the hotel or airport and drop you back at the hotel after the tour
- Depending on the weather, the program may be subject to changes
