About this experience
You will see the historical center of Vienna from unique perspectives, stroll through palace apartments, try the legendary Sacher torte, and learn many facts about the city that will complement your impressions of Vienna with knowledge of its history in an informal manner.
Program
- At the main building of the Austrian capital - the State Opera - you will not join the poor students ready to do anything for an entrance ticket, but I will tell you why the locals nicknamed the theater the 'sunken chest of drawers.'
- While walking through the palace complex, you will not see Franz Joseph and Sisi themselves, but you will admire the apartments, treasures, and collections of the ruling dynasty.
- Climbing the St. Stephen's Cathedral, you will not hear the bell chiming only once a year, the Pummerin, but you will learn why the Eagle Tower was left unfinished forever.
- In the court confectionery, the secret of the original Sacher chocolate cake preparation will not be revealed to you, but you will be able to taste it, washed down with Viennese melange coffee with cream.
And during the walk in Vienna, you will see:
- The magnificent Treasury;
- The Sisi Museum;
- The Imperial Apartments;
- The Silver Chamber;
- The Museum Quarter.
