What to expect

Dolmabahçe Palace: interiors and gardens. In the mid-19th century, Sultan Abdul-Mejid I wished to live not in an Ottoman, but in a Baroque palace — since then, this magnificent residence stands on the banks of the Bosphorus. You will walk through the grounds with ponds and magnolias, learn about the chronicles and architecture of the complex. Inside, you will first visit the harem, and then the main halls.

Ortaköy Mosque. At the foot of the Bosphorus Bridge awaits one of Istanbul's symbols. Built in the 19th century, the mosque attracted sultans so much that they sailed here for prayer from the other shore. You will explore it inside and out — Ortaköy is adorned with crystal chandeliers, marble, and pink mosaics.

Arnavutköy — the district of 'zephyr' houses. We head to the 'Albanian village' — the translation of the name of this prestigious and expensive district of Istanbul. We will walk along the promenade with colorful wooden mansions and snow-white yachts, and in the distance, we will see Turkey's largest mosque. We will talk about the past of this multi-ethnic district. You can also visit stylish cafes, galleries, and handicraft shops.

Dolmabahçe Palace (2 hours) — boat transfer — visit to Ortaköy Mosque (30 minutes) — boat transfer — walk in Arnavutköy district (1 hour) — return by boat to the Old Town (or to another part of Istanbul upon your request)
