About this experience
I invite you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of England beyond London - see the legendary megalith and admire the 123-meter spire of Salisbury Cathedral. Please note: this is not a historical tour with a guide. I am a driver with over 20 years of experience. I will take you to legendary places gently and comfortably, and along the way I will tell you about life in England from a local's perspective.
What to expect
- I will pick you up from a convenient location in London, Bristol, Bath, Weymouth, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, or Exeter
- Take you to Stonehenge - an ancient megalith in Wiltshire, 130 kilometers from London. Here the infrastructure is well organized, there are many interactive zones and audio guides in Russian.
- Then we will go to Salisbury, where you will leisurely visit Salisbury Cathedral - an example of early English Gothic architecture
- If you wish, we can stop for lunch at any place of your choice
- After the trip, I will take you back to the desired location
- On the way, I can tell you about life in the country, especially in the countryside, as I live just outside London
Organizational details
- All expenses, except for the transfer, are paid separately. Tickets to Stonehenge (audio guide included) - £20/person and tickets to Salisbury Cathedral - £10/person.
- The trip will be in a BMW 220d Gran Tourer. In the car, there is fresh bottled water, napkins, umbrellas. Let me know if you have children, I will bring a child seat.
- Car capacity: 6 seats + a small space for luggage or 4 seats + a large space for 3 XL suitcases
- If desired, the walk can be extended. Payment for additional time - £60/hour.
