About this experience
If you have already enjoyed all the typical tourist sights in Rome and are looking for something more, I suggest taking an unusual tram tour of the city. On this alternative excursion, you will see the diverse sides of Rome: interesting corners of the city will be revealed to you, and I will tell you all about the history of the neighborhoods we will visit and their landmarks.
What to Expect
- First, we will take a stroll through the famous park at Villa Borghese with its elegant avenues and magnificent fountains. Near the Museum of Modern Art, we will board a Roman tram and begin our journey! The route will cover a large part of the city and pass through districts that are so different from each other that it will feel like we are traveling through completely different cities.
- Our first stop will be the fairytale district of Coppede with its unique architecture blending different styles such as Liberty, Art Deco, and Baroque. Here, I will tell you about this amazing neighborhood and its history. If you like, we can have a cup of coffee or cappuccino at a charming cafe nearby.
- Continuing our journey with renewed energy, we will first pass through the elegant residential area of Parioli, and then through the alternative artists' quarter of San Lorenzo. Here, I suggest we get off again and explore this curious district with its street art, cozy cafes, beautiful central square, second-hand bookshops, and extravagant characters. Nearby, we can have a snack at a cute restaurant with typical Roman cuisine, whose history and name are also linked to trams.
- Now, from the modern city, we will transport ourselves to Ancient Rome and admire the Aurelian Walls with gates. I will reveal to you the history and mysteries of this place.
- And then back to Rome - the multifaceted metropolis! We will see a Roman aqueduct and the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the modern city and buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries, but (in our case) all tram tracks lead to the Colosseum. It is here, at the main amphitheater of the city and symbol of Rome, where we will conclude our eclectic tram tour of Rome.

Veronica showed us Rome from a different perspective. It added more colors to our impression of the city.

Communication during the organization of the tour is instant (previously we encountered pauses between responses from other guides on the site ranging from 8 hours to three days!). She flexibly adapts the route and the content of the tour. She has en...

We expected more from the tour. It would be nice if the route included more stops and interesting places. There was a feeling that in Rome you can see a lot more in the 5-5.5 hours that we spent on the tour (including about an hour for lunch in a cafe).
