Our route will pass through the streets of the most authentic district of the Eternal City. Amidst the simple, slightly provincial atmosphere of Trastevere, you will learn about the battles of the Garibaldians, the love of Raphael, and the peculiarities of local dishes. From the Janiculum Hill, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the entire old city with its tiled roofs, domes, and lush tree crowns. Here, the fountain of Paola plays with water jets and impresses with the harmony of Bramante's great Tempietto rotunda. If you go for a walk in the morning, you can admire the frescoes of Raphael, the beautiful decoration of the temples of Santa Maria in Trastevere and Santa Cecilia, as well as see the rare medieval frescoes of Pietro Cavallini. You will walk through winding streets, examining the tops of bell towers or dark rough arches framed by simple houses, and also encounter the tiny Tiber Island with ancient bridges along the way.
