About this experience
You will see picturesque places that are part of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. Explore the locations where the movie 'A Good Year' was filmed, admire the red-brick colors of Roussillon, and visit the place where Petrarch lived. I will tell you why the French way of life is called the art of living, what secrets pink wine holds, and how ochre is extracted.
What to Expect
We will meet at a convenient location for you - and the journey will begin, I promise you won't forget it!
You will see the morning in the stunning village of Gordes. Movies are filmed here, delicious wine is drunk, and only 600 people live here. You will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of peace and beauty of the Luberon Valley. Optionally, you can taste local delicacies and wines.
Then you will go to Roussillon, where everything is painted in red-brick color. You will see quarries where ocher was mined until the late 19th century. If you wish, you can try the most delicious lavender ice cream, for which many people come here.
You will visit the commune of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. I think it is pointless to describe this place - you have to see it. Petrarch lived here, he was described in his works by Dante, and it also captivated your guide!
