About this experience
Not visiting our tiny but very picturesque villages means not seeing the true, authentic Alsace. I will introduce you to the local king and queen - Riesling and Gewürztraminer. I will take you to historical wine cellars and where champagne was accidentally invented. I will reserve a table for you in a cozy restaurant serving Alsatian cuisine and guide you through the maze of streets.
What to expect
Join me on a tour of picturesque places and a gastronomic journey. The program includes:
- Let's visit historical wine cellars to taste exquisite wines Riesling and Gewürztraminer, which are known as refined and noble.
- If desired, we can visit a winery where the method of Champagne was accidentally invented. Yes, in Alsace!
- We will have lunch in one of the small restaurants in a remote village along the way. Snails, choucroute, frogs, flammekueche, veal cheeks... I could go on and on!
- We will explore the charming villages of Riquewihr and Eguisheim, as well as little-known places where 300-500 people live. Here you will find direct access to vineyards, numerous fountains with golden fish, and labyrinths of narrow streets.
Organizational details
- The tour is conducted in my personal Mercedes car. All expenses for transportation and parking are included in the price.
- I will pick you up from a convenient location in Colmar and drop you off afterwards.
