This 'a little bit of everything' format excursion will allow you to combine the holy and authentic, historical and natural Cyprus. You will visit three famous monasteries, learn extraordinary legends, and touch sacred relics. And in the picturesque mountain villages, you will discover Cypriot art and stroll through narrow streets.
What to Expect
Holy Places
This grand journey will start with a visit to the Church of Saints Cyprian and Justina: you will not only learn about the history of this place, but also be able to touch the relics of the saints, which protect from the evil eye and bad word. On the slopes of Kionia hill, you will visit the royal stavropegial male Machairas Monastery. Here, I will tell you about the monastery's name, the legend of the local miraculous icon, and Saint Luke the Evangelist. And in the female Monastery of St. Thecla, you will learn about the amazing gift of this saint and be able to collect healing water and clay, helping with skin diseases.
Authentic Villages
Almost abandoned village of Fikardou will impress you with its houses with wooden fragments and folklore architecture from the 18th century. And in the famous Lefkara, you will admire the traditional Cypriot lace and silverware, stroll through winding streets past terracotta houses. Additionally, you will visit the village of Kiti, where in the local church you will admire amazing mosaics from the 6th century.
Beauty and Spirit of Cyprus
All the way you will be accompanied by the most beautiful landscapes: mountains, hills, and forests. In one of the atmospheric villages, you will definitely stop by a small tavern to enjoy Cypriot coffee. On the way to Lefkara, we will stop by a mountain restaurant, where you will get acquainted with Cypriot cuisine. And at the end of the excursion, flocks of pink flamingos will charm you at the salt lake!

- The excursion is conducted in a comfortable car. Transportation costs are included in the price.
- The excursion can start from Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Limassol. Transfer from Paphos is possible with an additional 60€ fee.
- Lunch at a mountain tavern is optional and not included in the excursion price.
