About this experience
The Temple of the Holy Family has long been a symbol of Barcelona. Gaudi poured all his philosophical ideas and developments into it. But just looking at it from the outside does not allow you to grasp the grandeur of the design, and entry inside is only possible with a licensed guide. Join me for this opportunity. I invite you to get acquainted with one of the most famous temples in the world and climb the bell tower.
What to Expect
Sagrada Familia Inside and Out
Facades of the building are an incredible intertwining of religious narratives, mysterious symbols, plants, animals, real characters, and even anecdotal stories. The main space inside is designed as a pomegranate forest. Colorful columns branch out into nerve branches, supporting a vault of mosaic leaves.
Museum and Stories
An interesting museum on the lower floor tells the story of the creation of the temple through photographs, drawings, and models of both Gaudi himself and his followers. I will complement this narrative with fascinating facts about the construction of the Sagrada Familia and the life of its famous author.
Views of Barcelona and Beyond
If you wish to extend the tour, we can take an elevator to one of the bell towers. Through numerous windows and balconies, we will enjoy impressive views of the city, as well as unexpected perspectives of the church itself. Details that are poorly visible from below will be right in front of us, unusual and complex constructions will rise just a few meters away from us.
