About this experience
Gingerbread houses, cathedral arches, postcard views from observation decks, streets with unexpected names - I invite you to get to know Tallinn without haste and immerse yourself in its spirit. You will walk through the Old Town, visit museums if you wish, and explore non-touristy corners. Learn about the city's fate and architecture, Estonian cuisine, and the character of its inhabitants.
What to expect
Old Tallinn, where every street is like a museum
I have prepared an optimal route for you through the Lower and Upper Towns: we will cover the main sights without getting tired. Immersing yourself in the cozy Tallinn's old charm, you will see the Dominican Monastery, Town Hall Square, and a pharmacy operating since the 15th century - it seems like they sell ingredients for potions here! You will walk through the narrowest street in Tallinn and understand why the city limps on one leg. By the way, we will not miss the streets Short Leg and Long Leg. And also - the Niguliste Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and observation decks.
Along the way, we can visit museums and the Cathedral: here you will see stone tombstones, recognized works of art.
History and destinies at every turn
I will tell you about the birth and development of Reval-Tallinn, introduce you to its architecture. I will take you to interesting courtyards of Tallinn, hidden from sight. What awaits you there - let it be a surprise. We will talk about Estonian traditions, national cuisine, and religion. About extraordinary people: for example, about a pirate and 'Bloody' from the Ungern Sternberg family and about Count Benckendorff.
