About this experience
Join me for a leisurely photo walk through the most interesting places in Tallinn! You will not only be able to capture postcard-perfect views of the city and see it from the heights of observation towers, but also with my guidance, you will notice the unusual details of small houses and luxurious facades. This way, your impressions of Tallinn will be the most vivid and complete, and your photos will be unique, reflecting the city's distinctive character!
What to Expect
Feel the City's Color
We will try to immerse ourselves in the era of Tallinn's 'Golden Age', which fell on the 15th century. During this time, the city transformed and flourished: craftsmen, striving to outdo each other, created architectural masterpieces; townspeople strolled in elaborate hats and pointed shoes, adorning their homes with elaborate portals and beautiful doors. You will see exotic animals inhabiting facades and columns, examine a pagan dragon competing with a Christian lion. Stroll down streets where Gothic merchant houses, baroque palaces, and Jugendstil galleries coexist, and peek into cozy tiny courtyards. And to capture panoramic views of Tallinn, we will ascend the viewing platforms of Oleviste, Cathedral, and Upper Town towers.
Best Views of Tallinn
You will walk by the Great Sea Gates, stroll along Pikk Street and the Lover's Lane to the Cistercian Monastery, climb up the defensive wall and visit three towers, seeking out the most interesting perspectives of Tallinn through the camera lens. Then we will ascend Toompea Hill to capture the Lower Town, recall Roerich's painting 'Old King', and venture into the hidden corners of Revali Manor houses through narrow alleys. You will see charming burghers' houses, observe the Viru Gates, and we can conclude the walk on the rooftop of a tall building, offering a stunning view of the medieval city.
For those who have visited Tallinn before and have explored the entire historic center, a photo walk in Kadriorg, Kalamaja, Rotermann, and other equally interesting districts of the city is possible.
