About this experience
A one-day trip to the beaches of the Black Sea, where the Byzantine emperors themselves loved to relax, sunbathe, and treat themselves in the warm sands. We will take a trip by a crossover-grand voyager or Citroen car, which, besides us and the driver, has room for five passengers.
Program
Our journey will end near the ancient Genoese fortress near the town of Shile, where a linen festival takes place in the summer, and you can buy incredibly beautiful tablecloths, dresses, and blouses of handmade, home-made, as well as many pristine beaches.
Most of them are awarded the 'blue flag' designation. Such flags are given only to the cleanest beaches in terms of ecology. One of the most famous is the romantic beach of the cliff, which still sheds tears for lovers: a Turkish shepherd and a rich girl from a Greek family. It is called by the neighbors Alayanka beach. Nearby, on top of the mountain, is the oldest of the active lighthouses on the Turkish Black Sea coast.
The fish market and wonderful restaurants with the freshest sea fish and everything caught in the sea are located in such advantageous places that you will not want to leave them. You will have an unforgettable day at the beach or by the poolside, whichever you prefer. And in the evening - a walk through the attractive surroundings of Shile, Kumbaba, an opportunity to feed ostriches on the farm.
- The trip will start at 9.00 and end around 21.00.
- It is worth considering that the beaches have an entrance fee, and the rental of sun loungers and umbrellas. This can range from 20 to 30 Turkish liras per person, approximately 15 dollars. * Also, plan for expenses on lunch and snacks with drinks, there are cafes and vendors of various delicacies everywhere. Depending on your appetite and the frothiness of your favorite drinks, you may need another 50-60 liras, that is, up to 30 dollars per person.
