About this experience
Eastern Karangasem province is a place where ancient Balinese temples meet modern must-see places and natural treasures. In one day, you will climb to the top of the "heavenly" Lempuyang Temple, one of the island's symbols, stroll through the park of the Tirta Gangga water palace. Then immerse yourself in the ocean waves and relax on the volcanic beach with black sand.
What to Expect
Lempuyang Heavenly Temple
The breathtaking view of Mount Agung from the top of the Lempuyang temple complex is undoubtedly one of Bali's must-see postcards. You will visit one of the island's oldest temples and examine its details, moving between temple buildings via stone stairs and forest paths. Then you will visit the highest point of the Lempuyang complex, which Balinese people call the "Stairway to Heaven."
Architecture of Tirta Gangga Water Palace
You will visit the royal Tirta Gangga water palace, resembling a whimsical labyrinth of ponds, fountains, bridges, and alleys with sculptures of animals and demons. You will enjoy the landscapes of the palace park, where pristine nature harmoniously combines with traditional Balinese structures.
