About this experience
Get ready to be in the most significant and photogenic places of Bali! In one day, you will visit the temples of Pura Batuan and Ulun Danu, swing over the rice terraces, walk through the Monkey Forest, see Mount Batur, and swim in the waterfall lagoon. I will help you see the paradise island as you expect it and fall in love with Bali forever.
What to expect
Authentic Bali Temples
To understand the intricacies of Balinese architecture and religion, we will visit two traditional temples. You will see the village temple Pura Batuan from the 10th century, learn about its interior and symbolic division into three parts - the world of humans, the world of ancestors, and the world of gods. Then you will explore Bali's second most important temple, Ulun Danu Batur, a sacred and incredibly picturesque place on a lake. Here, I will tell you about the goddess guardian of the temple, to whom the entire island owes its fresh water.
Rice Terraces and Tropical Plantations
Along the way, we will definitely stop at Bali's postcard view - the Tegalalang rice terraces. Against the backdrop of otherworldly landscapes, you will find great photo spots and tall swings, the main props for photoshoots. We will also visit Balinese plantations: you will observe how they grow coffee, cocoa, fruits, and spices, and then taste several local coffee varieties.
The Magic of Balinese Nature
Contrasting, harmonious, and giving you goosebumps - that's how Bali's nature will appear before you. In one day, we will cover the most beautiful locations of the island. In Ubud, we will visit the sacred Monkey Forest, where you will see sacred trees and meet friendly macaques. For lunch, we will stop in the mountainous region of Kintamani: here, you will have insane views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. Additionally, you will stroll on a volcanic beach with black sand and swim in the lagoon of the 20-meter Tegenungan Waterfall, nestled in lush jungles.
