About this experience
I invite you to walk along the so-called Royal Route. Since ancient times, kings arriving in Krakow passed along this route through the entire city to the royal castle (Wawel). For a moment, we will plunge into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages and spend some time in the capital of Poland (after all, Krakow was once the capital).
What to expect
- Defensive walls of medieval Krakow and Florian Gate
- Florianska Street - the most popular street in Krakow
- Main Market Square and Cloth Hall
- St. Mary's Basilica
- Grodzka Street (Church of St. Peter and Paul and Church of St. Andrew)
- Royal Castle - Wawel
- Cathedral
- Symbol of Krakow - the dragon
During the tour, you will get acquainted with the rich history of Krakow and find answers to the following questions: Why is the dragon a symbol of Krakow? Why do tourists constantly see two dark-skinned foreigners? In what way were quarrelsome women punished in the Middle Ages? Why were the residents of Krakow chained near the church? Why do the people of Krakow swim with a dragon in winter? What should you definitely eat and drink in Krakow?
