About this experience
Dear friend, I invite you on a journey through time! We will take a leap back 1000 years and together we will walk this path through the centuries to the present day. We will venture into a world of elegant architecture, knights, monks, European monarchs, secrets and intrigues, conspiracies and attempts. Into a world that was built by five states. So, are you ready?
What to Expect
- We will start our journey at the monument to Boleslaus the Brave, the first king of Poland. Then we will pass by the luxurious buildings of the German trading houses from the early 20th century and head to the beautiful opera house, where guests from Vienna, Prague, Berlin gathered for performances.
- We will admire one of the oldest, most beautiful, and fashionable hotels in Poland, where Marlene Dietrich, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, and Mikhail Sholokhov stayed.
- Passing by the 16th-century church, where the crown of the Gaul kings was once kept, we will proceed to the Market Square - the real treasure of Wroclaw. We will definitely dive into its history.
- We will admire the main jewel of Wroclaw - the 13th-century City Hall. Nowadays, the oldest beer restaurant in Europe is located in its basements. Here I will tell you stories of families living in the city and reveal their intimate secrets.
- Slipping through the Salt Square, we will head towards the Basilica of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. We will visit the area where Goethe resided, and from there, passing through the craft narrow streets past the first city prison, we will reach the University of Wroclaw - a building with one of the longest Baroque facades in the world.
See you soon in Wroclaw!
