In this immersive journey, the stories of the left bank of Tbilisi will come alive before you. Together with the actress-guide, you will explore the unique entrances and courtyards of the Marjanishvili district. The format of heartfelt storytelling will allow you to hear the voices of local residents, follow in the footsteps of the artist Pirosmani, and imagine the graceful movements of Georgian princesses.
What to expect
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Tbilisi through images and sounds
At the beginning of our walk, you will receive instructions and headphones - and then the most interesting part will begin! You will get to know Tbilisi to the sounds of an audio performance, while our actress Nana will accompany you and illustrate the stories with action.
How the city lives: heartfelt storytelling
Storytelling is the main technique of our immersive walks. Nana will lead you through the left bank of Tbilisi, her love for which is complemented by her love for the theater. Together, you will peek into a couple of authentic entrances - a legacy of the first German settlers, visit the colorful courtyards of Agmashenebeli - a rival to Rustaveli Avenue.
Nana's acting talent will help you hear the voices of Tbilisi residents, imagine the graceful movements of Georgian princesses. You will learn about the place where the great artist Pirosmani died, see the house of the second woman to receive the Nobel Prize, and find out why you should look for a wedding dress specifically on Plekhanov Street.
Organizational Details
- The excursion is on foot. Along the route, in addition to the actress, a technician accompanies the group, providing instructions and handing out headphones, controlling transitions between locations, helping to find the best viewpoint, and resolving all technical issues.
- The excursion is a continuous performance, like a play, you cannot stop, remove headphones, or leave the route - we will remind you of this at the very beginning. There is a little time at each location for photos and free movement.
